As part of our on going initiative to help sustain the environment and working with schools to nurture a sense of social responsibility in students, Crosby Asset Management also partnered with the Literate Pakistan Foundation in their program “Jugnoo”. Jugnoo is a series of adult literacy program aimed at those that have had no contact with basic reading/writing education in the past. The Jugnoo program is led by specialized teachers that use a customized 4 part text book system. After completing the program participation, the student is able to read a newspaper comfortably, write basic letters and requests, in addition to performing basic mathematical calculations that will eventually empower him/her to earn a better livelihood.
Crosby Asset Management Pakistan sent some of their support staff to this program and the program participants are now being used to also provide support to office functions.
