Crosby Asset Management Pakistan partnered up with the Horticultural society of Pakistan and The Citizens Foundation to arrange an educational session for primary school children about trees at the TCF school in Korangi.
The events commenced with brief discussions about trees in one of the large classrooms where approximately 100 students had gathered to participate in the activities.

Mr. Salman Khan of the HSP briefed them about the importance of trees and Mrs. Doordana Soomro of the TCF asked questions.
The children were very excited at this and they were eager to answer questions and ask their own to satisfy their quest for knowledge about trees.
After the QA session, the children were let outside where holes had been arranged in the ground for the trees. Children came in groups and planted the trees in the ground and they all shoveled the trees back into the soil. The children then watered the plants and offered prayers for their strength and growth.
8 trees were planted and these trees have now been adopted by the groups of students who now collectively water these and tend to their care.
